Japan/European climate control

While I was in Germany I saw a Celica 2001 with this automatic climate control. Does anyone know if this can be retrofited to the US cars?

it can be done, but lots of changes have to be made with circuiting for the wires. You would have to really want it to do this cause I think it's too much work, but yet I don't know exactly what to do.

Not impossible, but very difficult. You need many sensors, and wiriings for that function.

You don't think that the wiring harnes would all ready be there. Just a question of pluging in the seperate units (sensors, and relay)??????? confused confused confused confused

It would just be too much of a hastle to do this. Too many sensors, and too much wiring.
