i found this place in a car magazine, I think it was import tuner and they clam you can get up to 10% of your horsepower for just $70, doesn't seem bad to me even if it just gets 5% for the price

since it was in import tuner it has to be a totally legit business. What do you guys think? Think it's bs ?

If that fan breaks, guess where all the pieces are going. Yep, you got it...inside the motor.

good point dan , I'm not getting it, maybe I should get one for my old car

it's only worth like $5 as it is anyways smile

wasting the $70 doesn't seem like the big bad thing but I just don't want to take my car in to Toyota just so they can say "im sorry we cannot take your shitty car because aftermarket performance killed it..."

From that website
Dyno Tests:

Horsepower increases of 4 to 13% were observed. Therefore, in a vehicle with 400 horse power, it would mean there was a change of 16 to 52 horse power !

"In a completely stock 99' Dodge Neon sport, I gained ten horses and went from 34-37 wheel horsepower to 44-47 wheel horsepower (using a G-Tech Pro performance meter). I have also noted (when I drive responsibly) a gain in gas mileage. I also lost a full second off my Quarter-mile times; from 16.8 to 15.8 and probably could have done better with more time with the G-Tech." -Francis Mize (Cincinnati,OH)

I would spend the 70 on the AEM pulley or wire kit or SS or engine mount or engine brace or anything.

what this is is an electric turbo. it looks like a turbo charger only made of plastic. it mounts on your cai or ram intake. i guess it spins up and forces more air to your intake, they have them on ebay for like $60 bucks...i dont know if it works but if it was as good as they claim i would think everyone would have one. grin
