So if I get the AC Autotechnic S7 Gauges will I still have to replace the Orange LEDs w/ the blue ones to get it to glow blue? confused

if you are referring to the numbers in the dial, then no...I have te gauges, and the overlays make the numbers on the dial blue...they really look amazing...I'll see if I can post pics soon

Yeah they just turn on like the stock ones. If you don't have the cash or skill to do the LED conversion, I HIGHLY suggest using a little brake light redout tape and put it on the backside of the clear windows for the turn signals etc. That way you still get red ones. Looks much better than green.

they are overlays, so you don't have to change anything...

if you want teh needles to be a different color, then you change the LED's..i did that to mine, so they lit red.
this is the old AC style

Wait a min... i just noticed something...

I thought that red line was at 8300 or something like that. But it looks to me in the s7's it is at 6800... what gives? I know it's just cosmetic... but still.

only problme is if you dont take off the needles to install. it slips over fine, but there is a chance that the needle gets stuck. When i installed them 1st i jsut slipped them on. they got scuk aroudn 7k. For the time i jsut rooled up a lil piece of paper and it wedged it between black part and gauge. It worked great. Once i did led swap i jsut didnt push the neeldes down all the way. No problmes now. Woks great. I highly suggest you considrer them smileas logna su tkae the neeldes off its all good smile
