Cd player and Subs
Does anyone know if it is possible to hook up a , 300 watt amp that is going to be pushing a 12" kicker, to a factory cd player?

no dude its not possbile because the amp has a RCA connector that will need to connect to a power source somehow. And thats the whole point of a aftermarket deck is because they mostly have sub-pre outputs for your amp.

- get an aftermarket deck... the stock one + converter is pointless due to the lower quality

... i had a stock cd/radio + converter, amp and 1 12" and it sounded shitty until i bought aftermarket cd player. If you want quality than spend some $ for a new deck thumbsup
