need help guys, how can i take off the black covering on the intake manifold, i need to get it painted... thanks!

My suggestion is to diconnect the hoses and take out the bolts. I don't know about the gasket though(some cars gaskets tear off). I'm sure you can find out in a repair manual or something. Good luck. What color are you going for? Anything else painted?
I was going to take mine off, but I didn't feel like taking the time. It seems time cosuming. Thats just my 2 cents.

damn, thats like one big job right there, i got all of the plastics painted blue, never replaced some hoses, just covered it with wire loom (blue as well), powersteering cap, radiator cap, brake fluid cap are all painted blue, i used duplicolor high heat blue 1200 degrees, ceramic coating, its almost done except the intake manifold plastic covering... , ill post some pics when im done with it... thanks
