In a couple of weeks I'll be getting the Clarion VRX935VD with a PS2 hooked up for my car since I've been saving up and was just wondering what everyone thinks about the headunit and what all I would need to hook up the PS2 and have no problems. I still don't know where the best place to mount the PS2 either, like under my glovebox or if it could fit under my seat??? I just don't think I want to get out to the trunk everytime I want to use the system. Any suggestions would help! thumbsup

I like the 3rd one the best, just looks really expensive!!! I wonder if it would fit under my seat, because one of my friends has it under his seat in his civic, but I don't know if there is enough room in the celica..

^^ i agree.. and at least you'd still have use of your glove compartment.. and if your rear windows are tinted then theives probably wouldn't even see the ps2... thumbsup

least you could jsut reach over for it... and not have to go all the way to the trunk grin

here's another view..

pointless imo - how many times are you going to play it in there? it gets old after awhile unless your passengers are the players...

So it wouldn't cost a lot to do the #2 in the back? That one would be pretty sweet. And yes I would actually play it a lot since I have to wait outside school for aobut 20 minutes every morning so I can get a good parking spot and not get door dings or my car messed with.

number 2 is the best all the more you can do it yourself. it doesn't look that hard.

i was actually looking into doing the same setup as #2...its not too hard...just remove the back seat and the panel, measure the ps2 and cut the panel...you do have to hammer the inside sheet metal so the ps2 can sit snuggly once the panel is put back with the ps2...i may be working on this setup once my lambo hinges come in...btw what kind of rims are those that is in ur sig chiller...oh and i not sure on the username but i believe it belongs to blackpanther?? again not really sure

That's a good copy tongue The idea was originally pioneered by my car and I like how subtle yet effective it is. Plus, I'm 6'2" so I can reach it with out stretching too much. smile

I strongly encourage people to do something original and unique though. Use your head a little, you'll come up with something.
