Go with Headers from TRD, Hotshot, or Trial. Depends if you have a GT or GTS.

How hard was the pulley to install? Can you tell a difference? You should work on suspension stuff next, I think you should get a TRD rear strut bar first. It helps a lot, looks good, it makes the car turn so much better, and it makes the Celica so much more fun to drive. After all isn't handling what the Celica was designed for?

For me i wasnt to hard. I have a mechanic friend down in Miami, who install all the things for me. Not for free but really cheap. For me it is a difference but not that much. Ill say my be 3-5hp...some like that. And thanks...i think i going to get the springs first.

Strut bars are nice, but I would definitely go with the TRD headers first, since you have a GTS. They cost a pretty good buck, but from what I have heard they are extremely good. I would get them, but I am having a custom turbo installed this summer, and the guy that is doing it is pretty much changing around my whole engine...he is putting in new pistons, rods, intake, exhaust, etc. He is putting in a bunch of stuff, and I don't want to spend $750 on a part that I wouldn't be able to use. I currently have an AEM CAI, AEM pulley, and Tanabe Super Racing Medallion exhaust, all of which I won't be able to use once I get the turbo put in. Anyways, sorry to talk your ear off, but I would go with Headers if I were you. Peace.

How much are TRD headers for a GT? Is it possible to install yourself? If not mow much was the install?

I suggest getting either Eibach Pro-kit springs or TRD springs and lower that Celica of your down, it'll give a more aggressive look. I'm doing it myself. just a thought!

Definitely, lower it. TRD springs look good on a stock looking GTS.

I heard replacing the oem header on a celica GTS doesnt help. I heard you lose torque, I dont have a source.

Its deffinitly not worth 750 bucks, You could lower your car, get front and rear strut bars, lower tie bar on the rear and still spend about the same amount of that header will set you back.

Maybe even a carbon fiber dash kit, shift knob, something to spice up the inside.
