So what does everyone do to try and stop having there car broken into. Tinted window so you cant see in, alarms, the club, autolock, pitbulls lol
I always just lock my car and try to hide everything i can away such as cd's, radar detector, loose money and atms cars. I also try not to blast my stereo into my parking stop to try and avoid any extra attention. And at night i always park in our garage.

Responder Systems from Python are simply the most advanced 2-Way Security and Remote Start systems in the world! The interactive display on the Responder remote confirms all commands - virtually instantly - with easy to understand icons, plus text! It alerts users to security system triggers by
beeping or vibrating when out of audible range of the siren. And of course the 881XP and 581XP will start your vehicle with the push of a button, and you'll get confirmation back that it started, from up to one-quarter mile away!

It says "from up to one-quarter mile away!" but mine seems to go further if in the open. I park 1/4 mile from my office at work and Im inside a building I still can get 2way from my car in there.

I also tuck things behind the drivers seat/passenger seat.. if I use them a lot.. its hard to see that area through the tiny windows.

insurance that doesnt try to fuck you when you try to make a clain. technically nothing will stop someone from breaking or fucking with your car. but what i always wanted to do was create a long metal pole aat least 6 ft long and 8 inchs wide under the seat so when someone steals your car you hit the button and that big ass pole goes up there ass smile what a way to die with a big stick up your ass

Honestly, tinted windows doesn't make your car less a target.

To me, tinted windows means you are hiding something and I would be more likely to break into your car to see what you are trying so hard to hide, that is...if I broke into cars.

Environment is the important thing. If you live or work in a high crime area you will probably get broken into. Alarm, or no alarm. It does't help that we are driving flashy cars either. Lo-jack is a viable option for theft of the vehicle. Alarms seem to be ineffective due to the false alarms. No one pays much attention to a car alarm going off anymore. Good luck!

Well I live in a great area and work in a great area, that helps but does not mean it will not happen. I can see my car at all times at work and can get to it fast. Also I have an alarm with lowJack, use a club and a autolock. I have just the stock stereo so no problem there and I keep all personal items out of site or out of the car.

I believe he's stating that thieves wouldn't steal from highly noticeable areas such as a well lit spot... they'd prefer dark corners where they can ply their trade

Yeah and a thief will probably like it better if the window is tinted anyways, makes less noise. Without tints if he breaks the window glass goes everywhere and makes some noise. With tinted windows the glass sticks to the tint and doesn't make much noise compared to a window without tints.

i got a matrix 2.5 x ( by clifford) plus a motion sensor. since i got them i didn't get any break in attempts. i got two before.
of course i had to change my battery ( thank god ) under warranty given that the motion sensor drained it. but it's really worth it. better spend money on a battery than on body work , and paint. thumbsup
