Just thought i would tell everyone who is interested in getting the supercharger that there is a problem with extreme pinging in the 4000-5500 rpm range since the ecu of the celica is different than the corolla/matrix. So if anyone was looking into getting this for their gt make sure you look into buying a air/fuel controller or the unichip (if any of those are even available for our car-and im not sure if that will correct the problem for sure either) because i was only a few days away from buying the supercharger myself and didnt want anyone to spend a lot of money and get a problem out of it.

yes the powerfc will most likely correct the problem. I heard someone say a few people on here had the trd supercharger on their celicas. Does anyone happen to know anyone that does?

but i heard that there is no PFC for the GT only for the GTS and the S/C is for the GT, the only PFC they have for the 1ZZ-FE Engine is for the MR-2, so it might work on the celi, but im not sure!!
