long story short i went to install it this afternoon to see that the bolts don't match up on the sides and to top it off the skirt was about half an inch to short. i pulled it over the lip and the front got a stress crack in it. angry
when it was on the rear part didn't even touch the side of the car. the panel that kinda goes up was at least half an inch away from my car. any suggestions? did anyone else have as much problems installing veilside EC-1 side as me? i herd it just bolted up in seconds and you were done.

that sounds like a fake, clone, or knock-off bodykit. you'll just have to be creative, a lot of filing and silicone...

all Fiberglass kits take some minor fitting and finishing. They should be test fitted prior to paint as well. If you are not comfortable doing the work yourself consult a professional. Fiberglass is very easy to work with for the guys that are experienced. We do a ton of body kit installation as well as fabrication and prototyping. You cannot expect the parts to bolt right up like an oem Urethane part.

Veilside fits extremely perfect, mine required no modification at all and it fit awesome...as with the rear and front...

VS doesn't seem to like you dude, you must have pissed me off when you called so damn much to see where your stuff was...
they gave you shitty hood and shitty sides??
maybe they are all on drugs and messed up a bunch spineyes

send them back...because that's not like VS to have that kind of product

heh, dude they say it bolts right up to oem though before i bought it. i was under the impression that replica's needed major modification to fit and thereal thing didn't. making the skirt to short so that when i stretch it over the lip the other side gets a stress crack? that doesn't sound like i got the premium stuff that was advertised.

My VS2 sides fited OK

The back fit great but the front needed a little work, like some new holes.

I too thought the sides didn't fit right, but found out that I just needed to open the doors then side them in thumbsup

Good luck on those sides

and any word from Veilside yet on the hood

None on my part cry
