hey everyone...just have a question about nitrous oxide...can it be applied to an automatic? would i need to make any other modifications or is it a plug and play sort of deal? and finally, what would be the TOTAL cost (wet kit, installation, etc)? thanks in advance for any help

Ok, I'll post what I know so far, although it's only a small amount. Yes, an automatic can be boosted using N20. Will you need anything other than the N20 setup? Depends on how big of a shot you're going to spray. Our cars can roughly take about a 60 shot safely. Others say 70. Anything over that and you're going to need to strengthen the internals. Now, our cars don't have a return fuel rail, so you have to get a wet kit (I think). Guys, correct me if I'm wrong here. As to prices, you'll just have to look around. I don't even know how much an instal is (my tuner's a friend who does installs for me cheap). Hope I helped.

With the wet kit, you'll have to tap into the fuel line. Other than that, it's pretty much the same as dry.

You will go with the wet kit. Nx has a kit that is adjustable from 35-50-75, go with that unless you are upgrading your internals and want a bigger shot. You can use the 75 shot but it is a little dangerous, so don't use it often. Everything you need will be included in the kit, but you can get things upgraded and different switches and whatnot.

Thanks for all the help...esp you Dan. Great info. I noticed that you have the Hotshot Headers...what do you think of them? Noticeable difference? How much to have it installed? will it void a warranty?

No problem man. As for the headers, yea I notice a difference. I have no competition with GT celicas now. My competition is with the GTS. I can beat them in the 1/8 but not in the 1/4. Thats where their lift takes dominance, up top. I installed it myself, very time consuming but not difficult. As for voiding warranty. I couldn't tell you. I'm sure it voids some things and the dealer will try and use that as an excuse to void it. So it basically dpends on the dealer. Keep us updated with whats goin on and whatnot. Dan
