there are a few things that might be the cause. one could be the angle. simlpe as the car looks darker on the bottom half of the car because of the angle it sits at. second (which is most likely) could be the normal fade of your car due to sunlight etc...and the sideskirts havent faded the same amount of time as your car.

yeah, the paint on your car is 3 years older then the paint on the side skirts, they have taking a lot more abuse. good body shops can tint paint to make them match. also the same paint can dry a diffrent shade if the material is diff. Fiberglass compared to metal, the texture is differnt and the paint will lay differnt making it look like a diff color when it isnt.

yea i have the same problem w/ the kam kit.. but i guess that's what i get for waiting like 2 years to get my kit.. i do agree it could be that and the material used also.. the positive about white is that when the sun is strong you don't notice it as much.

i had the same problem when i just got my kit installed. i think that it has to do with the fact that the paint is brand new and didn't fade yet. look at my car right now you can barely see the difference.

^^^
great hook-up... yeah, as others have said, your paint has experienced wear which the new skirts haven't - hence the color difference

it's toyota, their paint code never matches with the actual color of the car. my family have 5 toytoas (including 2 of mine), none of them match... thumbsdown
