does anyone know of a really good lightweight rims
prefferable a split 5 spoke design?

what the weight on those, becase I like them. They would look good on a yellow Celica.

there are many lightweight rims...but are expensive...

Rota and REV are the only ones I know that are cheap and lightweight.

i got my ADR DV-8 rims and they are 16 lbs each but they r either 7 or 8 spoke cant remember

the smaller the rims the lighter they are...unless you are looking for a specific size thumbsup

5Zigen has a light forged wheel, I think it's the FNORC something.

get some 15" volk gram lights

you still might be a little over budget but if you go with 15's you'll be pretty damn close to it

Yeah... neither have I, which frustrates me. I picked up a set of 17s at the shop though, and they seemed nearly as light as the 17" Volks. You could tell there was a difference... but not very much.

In that case, they're probably in the high teens...17, 18, maybe 19lbs at the most

Those are pretty light. Lighter than my old Volk GTPs both 17*7. Check this out for wheel weights. Download PDF. I think it's a couple years old, but has a lot of wheel weights regardless. CVL's Roadster Page [wheelweights.net]
