flames result from running no cats... i'll prob have some once I get my exhaust setup on they usually have short flame bursts when shifing in high RPM's

they were tryin to do that on "pimp my ride", it's illegal so insted of flames the exhaust was shooting with soap bubbles

i know on old muscle cars they used to put flints from like lighters in the tips of their exhausts and they would run them some how so a switch. since they didn't have cats a lot of fuel wasn't being used (and since they are inefficient american cars ) there was enough to ignite when they rev'd
