ticketted

Hello everyone, I need some expert's help in beating off my ticket for going 86 mph in a 65 mph zone, when in reality i was doing 130... it's just that i was slowing down... The cop was pacing me but there were a lot of trucks around, is it going to be logical for me to say that he got a wrong target cus when he was giving me a ticket i told him i wasnt speeding... at first he convicted me for going 110 but than i said i wasnt, and he gave me a ticket for 86... I think i have a good chance of defending my case, but are there any tips from anyone which can help me out? I am not asking for this cus i wanna do it again, i just wanted to see how fast can i get this celica going... I know im not going to speed up like that anymore, but i need someones help to get rid of this charge or my insurance will kill me...

For one, I am sorry but you deserve the ticket...and maybe your liscense suspened. Speeding 130 in a lot of traffic is a good way to hurt other people for your idiotic mistakes. If you feel you need to speed, goto the tracks, or goto that salty place tongue(sorry cant remember whats its called). But boo to you for going that fats in a heavy traffic area thumbsdown

just tell the judge you were doing 130... tell him you just bought the car and had a few drinks and felt like testing out the acceleration... but you couldnt afford a radar detector, so you couldnt detect the cop... and only after you saw his lights you started slowing down... at which point he pulled you over and "only" gave you a ticket for going 86... in a 65, with mucho trafico...

then shout at the cop and faint and be dragged out of the court room...

yeah, get a lawyer, my friend...I live in GA, and work at a law firm. I'd help you out myself, but like I said, I'm not in PA...if you get a decent lawyer, just tell him that you need to plead to lesser charges...take a defensive driving school before, before your court date, and see if he can talk to the solicitor of the court, and work something for you, like giving you community service, and continuing the case until a month later...usually work s that if you can get that dea, and come back in a month with community service done, and defensive driving school under your belt, you'll pay a fine, and he'll dismiss the case...which means that you're insurance company won't know because no points will be assessed to your license thumbsup thumbsup

If you got busted for 86 in a 65, you're lucky. That'll probably be one point on your record... and you can probably just go to traffic school for it. Which, I might say, YOU NEED. Going 130 with any sort of traffic and you deserve much worse than that.
