Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior S2000 install please help

First of all let me say I have a sixth gen. Okay, here's my dilemma. I bought the 7th gen antenna mount and base and whatnot off someone parting out there Celica. I then bought an S2000 antenna. The reason I did this is because I didnt feel like hacking up my car to get the S2K antenna to work. And the 7th gen mount fits anyway. SO here's my problem: The antenna doesn't screw in! I'm worried that the base is the wrong year or model or something. It just won't screw in. They don't even look like they are supposed to fit. Should I have the power antenna or non-power antenna? Does it matter?

well out of all those questions, all i can answer is that you should have the non-powered antenna. . . cause that one goes down into the car. . where as the non-powered one stays up in the air. . and you can just put the 2k on it

nevermind i got it. the nut was not all the way twisted on. Nice girl by the way.
