Celica Forums General Discussion General OK to use auto carwash?

i have an AEM CAI and was just wondering if it would be OK to use a touchless car wash that sprays the underbody as you pull in. i think the jets that clean the underside don't start until the front tires go over, and since the filter is ahead, i would think it would be ok? i'm just thinking it wouldn't be much fun to have my car hyrdolock halfway pulled into the bay.

sounds kinda risky, plus, those things don't usually get as much dirt off as you can by hand washing

but whos got the time or the equipment do a home wash? (my hose just burst) while i was washing my boat... so now i gotta duct tape the mother or buy a new hose...

i dont know much about how that Intake deaile would work... but i dont do touchless often in any of my cars... why dont you do the powerwash place? then its easier, and detailed, and pretty cheap (we can fit out boat in those too)
