An engine swap could be envisioned, but not the body.

nothing from what i heard

concept looks good, but would def not look like that...it would look REAL nice...

and if it was Turbo AWD, i would poop in my pants...

but right now, NOTHING is true until it's from TOYOTA

i bet we will get the JDM 2zz with 190 hp.
Or, the most they will give us, for the GT_S, would be prolly like 200 or something. (my speculation, but like billy said, nothing is absolute till it comes from toyota...)

even if you dont like it...ya gotta admit,it looks more like a traditional celica design.and if they come out with a Turbo AWD version...well i would think that it would waist a 350z. 230hp stock so a Turbo charged version should be around 270hp and way lighter than a 350.

You know...Even thou I hav'nt got my new celica yet. But I've test driven the 2004 Celica GTS...I tell ya I've done my research on the car. And I still drive at the same conclusion everytime...That the 7th Gen, is still the car of choice for me. This talk about the 8th generation just dos'nt convince me at all!...Toyota should have kept the original 7th Gen
design and in the process could have upgraded the engine HP to a 240HP. And a new Action pkg kit. But that's just my opionion. happywink ... For me I'm still getting my 7th gen 2004 super white celica GTS. thumbsup

they better not make the 8th gen weigh more since they think they can b/c it has more power. but a Turbo'd 2.4L in a 7th gen celica body? that would waste an Evo!

That looks kinda like the tC rolleyes

These pictures have been posted more times than anything else on this site.

Let it die. It'll be out when it's out, if ever.

I haven't seen any celica advertisements, and they are vacant from dealer lots in my area. Oh well, they came out with a NEW body kit for the last year of production? I don't think so.
