ok guys.. my friend gots blue bats vinyl overlay for the taillights but he got pulled over.. and when a cop came close to it he noticed something was just put on top of the taillights... well my other friend wants to sell me these... and there painted on the outside but the reverse lights r not painted over. (bluebats vinyl covers the reverse light) you think i would still get pulled over for these?
from what i know in California that in order for it to be legal it has to be showing some red in order for other vehicles on the road to be aware it is the tail of another car... it goes on, hope it helps
well if you havnt disabled ur drls... then you would always have some red... as in the blub in the rear/front lights are always on... so if your local to your "friend" take a flashlight and put it on dimly and beam it through and see if theres a red color when dimly lit... then you should be cool...
im in cali and my bro got some super dark blackouts for his eclipse, you couldnt even see any red. he had them on there for a while and got no hassel from cops
