Finally

what short shifter will fit the 2002 gts cause TRD told me they dont fit, twm sounds like they fit, b&m i dunno about tell me quick i gotta buy one maybe

i believe that the TRD shifter only fits the older trany with the narrow shift gate.2002 and up have the new trany.i had mine replaced under warenty and was told the TRD would not fit now.i have heard that it can be moded to fit though.any of the other aftermarket shifters will work because they only replace the lever, TRD is a whole new asembly. thumbsup

You can fit any short shifter to fit any Celica. All you have to do is follow the b&M or TWM install procedures (including the TRD).

the new trany has different cable lengths.since the TRD shifter replaces the the entire asymbly(including the cable mount points)you would need to modify the cable length or the unit.

the b&m only replaces the shift lever,so you dont need to mess with the cables or the asymbly.

With the TRD ss you can swap out the assemblies and it will fit.
