question about springs and shocks

hey guys, well i ordered my springs already so they should come any time now, today i was hanging out with friends and they told me about what happens with ur shocks and springs eventually, well i was wondering do you have to change ur shocks every so often when you change ur springs, and if you do how much does it cost to change the chocks ? and also how long does the shocks last from then?????

yeah you usually want to get new struts(i think thats what we have) when you get springs. shocks can cost any price really depedning on quality. the shocks should last for a good deal of time so i wouldnt worry about changing them

yep, if your car has a lot of miles, ie. more than 50K, than it's a good idea to go ahead and get new shocks/struts so you won't ride around on blown ones. kyb agx struts are really good, and not too expensive. got mine from the supra store in florida for around 370. thumbsup

eek too much money for me man! I found 4 air struts for a celica bolt on with compressor and everything for $400. I think i will do that owned
