Anybody know or have an info on how to install ground lighting effects kit?... When I bought mine I only had two long bars and two short bars.. I'm talking about ground effects lights that lights up under the car. It's for my celica, but seems kinda hard to install it yourself. Who knows.. maybe it's easier then it seems.
My Varad LED kit is finally on the way... Install doesn't seem too difficult after consulting the instructions and I believe LED's are the way to go since they're so much more break-resistant compared to the normal garden variety undercar lighting (Streetglow)
Some 3M double-sided tape and zip ties should fasten them on nicely and the wiring seems be pretty easy...
yup..Led are betta too i think.. to install just jack up ur car and hold up the tube to where you want to to be and using whatever clip they come with mark where you need to drill. and drill some holes, use zip tie and zip them down tight..run all the black wires to the transformer, the transformer usually have 10 little slot for the wires both red and black..after all the black and red wires are connected to the transformer, at the end of the transformer you will have either 2 holes for ur constant 12V and grounding..use the black for Grounding and Red to power it up..use a switch or you can splice into ur parking light/sidemarker light 12V wire and use that..if you do that whenever you turn on ur parking light ur kit will light up..but it's illegal in most state to have them on while driving..so put a switch on it..Good luck
