Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Stock CD player problem

I always burn CD by myself, but when I play in the car, it keeps skipping, I play the same CD at home, it's fine. Not every CD would skip when I play in the car, but some, and I notice that it skip most of time in the afternoon, because it's hot. Anyone has same problem? I bought my car within half year, dont know why it is broken.

not sure, I never had that problem in my stock CD player or the new Eclipse head unit...

i had the sme problem! my player would always heat up my discs, and i mean heat up

i was so pissed, that i punched the unit hahahaha. dont worry, i got a new head unit that im going to install!

stock units suck
