I want to pick up a Short Shift and i was thinking about the TRD one, which one do you like best? Also i have heard the the TRD ss prevents you from misshifting into second gear, any truth in that? And where can i get it for cheap?

TRD is great, but if you want the best SS, get TWM or B&M.
Absolutely Red awesome canyon road hugger with impressive straight-line acceleration.

I'd probably go with TWM it has the shortest throw. As long as you are careful you won't mis-shift. Go Celica!!

I need to save this reply into a txt file somewhere.
TWM - shortest throw, roughest shifting (most likely to misshift)
B&M - medium throw, medium smoothness
TRD longest throw, smoothest shifting (least likely to misshift)
TRD ia approx. 1" shorter than stock, which is noticable still.

Unfortunately I haven't yet. I just have a custom short shifter that's about an inch shorter than stock and I'm comfortable with it. A person could get comfortable with any short shifter after some time. If you get a TWM just be careful on shifting quickly.

TWM is the best IMO ... mis-shifting is only for bad drivers that don't know there cars. Always take your time and learn the new shifting pattern and you will be fine.
