Gonna buy a bottle today, and clean out my ICV along with my throttle body. I want to spray it in the Intake, and pull the throttle cable a little until the black or white smoke goes away, then I'll know it's clean.

My question is, can spraying too much into the Intake be bad for the car?

I'm just worried that if I spray too much then the car will die and not be able to start back up until it dries from the inside, which could take a while.

Any chance of this happening?

Don't spray directly into the Intake!!! I guess you are talking about your CAI. Please don't do that. Your MAF will probably fry. You need to spray it directly into your throttle body and the ICV. It's best if you have a friend inside the car incase you do stall it. If it bogs just pull back on the throttle cable. You need to keep your Intake pretty much in tack or as closed off to the throtle body or you will never get your car started in the first place. If I was you I would first disconect the piece from the throttle body and loosten everything else that needs to in order to see the control valve and know where it is. Then position the can and pull the Intake close to the throttle body. Have a friend start the car and spray away. You will see the deposits roll off and some smoke maybe. Get the valve and the throttle body, there's plenty in the can. By the way I bought the can at any local auto parts store for $2.50?. It comes w/ the straw and says on the back not to get it on the MAF. Check it... Throttle Body
