ok now i was wondering what kind of Turbo i should pick up for my GT. Now my GT is an Automatic (im am ready to take all of the people who are goin slam my auto but trust me if i had a choice i wouldnt have an auto) That aside i wanna know what kind of Turbo i should get. (Even though i know most people are gonna be like "Its pointless to Turbocharge an auto) rice rice

Hmm... I'd say stafford fabrications kit, or custom.

It's not pointless to Turbocharge an automatic tongue. You'll just need extra acessories. (Like a Turbo timer, even though manual drivers use this, as well.)

Hell, you can even get a custom Turbo kit fabbed smile.

actually i wish this thread was more elaborated, because im one of those regretful owners with a GT automatic transmission when i didnt know jackshit about cars 4 years ago and just bought it for affordable looks...anyways..its pretty tuff to decide of spending another 3.5-4Gs when you can use that money to trade in and use it for a downpayment for a more powerful car.

xplodeloadz - true that.

I have the same car and I got it for looks and quality.

But if I were to decide on getting Turbo or an SC, I'd choose the Turbo. Turbo kits cost less than the TRD SC and it has more gains HPwise. Though I wouldnt mind going all out on TRD Performance.

(Off-topic) BTW have any you people seen a full spec TRD celica? other than the M-Sport. (too bad TRD doesnt have a CAI for the celica) Oh yeah, I do realize that buying TRD parts are way more expensive than most aftermarket parts.

Benefits to superchargers is that it's more passive. Easier to tune, and whatnot.
