You need the stuff that Toyota uses on the Camry & Avalon. It's specificaly designed to keep road noise out. It's kind of a sound dampening matt.

Buy different kinds of tires. Some are louder than others.

when i bought my car, the road noise was very loud, i thought the alignment was off, but it ended up being the toe on the tires so they gave me new tires under warrenty and fixed that since then my road noise was decreased by 90% i would look into that. so if your camber or toe is off, even your alignment it will sound bad.

I'd think that would be bad for the tires...though I know most racers deflate their street tires a bit for their runs..

Dynamat is for vibration control, not deadening of sound.

You need a composite mat that will form a barrier agains't sound. Also, a hoodliner will help.

Try places like www.cascadeaudio.com [cascadeaudio.com] or industrial supply places for sound barriers.
