I was reading the install on
hoodpins it says to install the
"just outside the black "nubs" that
are pictured here..." Which nub is it?
The green nubs i circled or the blue ones?

I had mine installed. They remove the 'blue' nubs. They're the rubber stops. No pics yet tho...

do i need hood pins, if i had the oem carbon fiber hood?

^ you don't need them, but they're highly recommended...especialy if you drive a lot at a high rate of speed, like on the freeway

u should just for safty reasons..
vis strongly recomends hood pins for
all of their hoods...you dont want your
hood to fly in your face on the highway
going 80+.. i kno of couple of ppl that, that
has happened to them

Look on your stock hood, it should have some rubber stoppers on it too right near the edges. where those rubber stoppers contact the radiator support is where you should drill. I had a hell of a time doing this, make sure you have a dremel tool with a nice cutting blade, cutting/drill bit, wrenches, and screwdriver. just be patient tand measure twice!!!
