I've got an Infinity Bass Link (it came with the car) in the trunk and it keeps rattling. Does any one else have this problem with thier trunks? How did you fix it? Thanks! wave thumbsup

just dynamat it. Is it the sub rattling or the trunk? If it's the trunk dynamat will fix it. If it's the sub, it's on it's way to being blown

if your cheap like me and don't care much for bass competition get dynomat spray foam. its cheap and does the trick. also double sided stick tape with foam padding for your license plate is cheap easy fix with only 2 screws on the top and nothing on the bottom.

90% of the rattling is either 1) your fuel door or 2) your rear plate.

If you have a rear plate frame, Dynomat the back of it. Plastic frames also rattle less. Dynomat the back of the plate itself, and also consider some sort of 2-sided foam tape to hold the bottom of the plate to your car.

As for the fuel door, dynomat helps some, but stuffing something in there works well too. I used to use this cotton balls, but that became a pain when I filled it up. rofl

Thanks guys! thumbsup I'm gunna go get some Dynamat soon. But about stuffing the sock, I dont think I should do that because in Jersey it's illegal to pump our own gas. Actually, maybe I should just to see the dudes reaction when he goes to fill my tank. LOL rofl

Yeah, I've even been yelled at when I tried to do my own gas because I was waiting for about 10 min for him to do it. I got fed up. So I got out and started to do it when this old man came bolting out and siad, "HEY DON'T YOU TOUCH THAT, I DON'T WANT TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU." lol rofl But everyplace I've been in Jersey has Full service only. And from what I hear it's illegal threw out the state to do it yourself, and you can be fined. spineyes

Jersey is just too cool to do our own gas. thumbsdown

I'm sure it has something to do with clean air laws. Although I can't imagine how that helps...

im guessing that there is a little space between the seam of the window and the perimiter of the truck...so try to shove some foam in those spaces all around the window and press hard to make sure it stays... thumbsup (all of this done on the inside of truck window by the way)

Just buy the bulk pack. It will cover the entire trunk, license plate, and behind the rear speakers. When you install make sure you wear gloves or you will tear up your hands with hundreds of little cuts.
