just wire em to your headlights... when they turn on, and your LCD in the radio turns on, then the neons will too... thats what i did anyways.

all you need to do is hardwire them to the battery, the reason the radio does this is because it has a 12V constant wire. THe problem with this and neons is that the bulb will die very quickly because it will be on all the time. I would suggest a swtich, BUT if that's how you want to do em go for it. But be prepared to replace em frequently.

it wouldn't actually be directly to your battery now that I think about it, it would have to come from a relay in order to come on with your ignition. Sorry about that. However the bulb problem would still be the same...I'd say use a switch.

I hate tapping into shit that's already there, that's why I ran the hardwire to the battery through the firewall, plus it's nice cause you'll have your own power line into the car and don't risk messing anything up.

^^ I agree, thats why I use "add a circuit", no cutting, no fire wall, plug and play.

I would tap the cig lighter fuse with no switch to power when the key is in, tap the tail light fuse to power when you turn your lights on.

do a search for "add a fuse" and "add a circuit", I have talked about this alot.

I would put a simple switch in it.. but if you really want it to turn on on ignition you should consider this small relais.. I made one for my Fireblade.. works great.. can make you one.. or tell you how to.. just pm me if you're interested
