Its on like 80% of the time, but my fuel door is always shut, does anyone else have this problem?

it's not a light. its just reflective when light, such as sun, hits it. it's suppose to tell you which side your fuel door is.

^^yah... I realized that with mine after the 1st week.. it annoyed me then I blocked the sun from hitting it and I ta da.. gone haha.

Yeah my light always seems to come on right before I end up running out of gas rofl
J/K but yeah it always caught my eye, then I started noticing that I only saw it in the morning on my way to school, then I figured out that it was just the sun.

rofl i was thinking about making a post about this earlier today. thank god somebody finally got it out there... it was bugging the shit out of me. i remember the first few weeks i had my car i was tinkering with the freaking fuel door... now i can relax. grin

like someone else said, a high majority of all cars tell what side the fuel tank is on. I am glad its there, sometimes I switch cars and have to gas up and forget for a split second what side the tank is on, either that or you can lean forward and check in your side mirrors.

when i gas up, i usually have it so the gask tank is away from the gas pump. that way when i top off the gas/reach the maximum payment all the excess gas flows through the hose and into the tank.
