welcome fossey wave

different model names in australia... U.S. has GT & GTS

not sure about the 95-99 model, as this site is mainly 99 onwards & im getting a 2000 model and have only researched that model.

so not sure if the differences between SX & ZR are same, but current model are ZR has sunroof, alloy pedals, 2 tone interior, cruise control, 6cd in-dash stacker, fog-lights, leather wheel & knob, 16inch rims, and maybe a couple more creature comforts. All this is standard for ZR.

both the 2000 ZR & SX have VVTLi, but 95 & 99 don't have that engine anyway. there were a 2.2l & a 2litre so maybe the ZR has the bigger engine. sorry but the Performance of the sx & zr your lookin at are poor compared to the new engine

IMO the only decent australian celica prior to the VVTLi engine put in the current model is the GT4 (turbo 4wheel drive) made in the 95 - 99 period.

hope this helps thumbsup

can't argue with that... don't know how those celica's respond to mods, but should be a good ride.

had a bit better of a look & the ZR & SX both seem to come in the 2.2 litre, and yeah the ZR just has bigger rims, & more creature comforts & stylish bits

good luck with ya purchase thumbsup you'll need most of ya 18 large though

heres a teaser...

if you look into the specs of gen 6 (94-99) and compare it with gen 7 (00+), it's a lot bigger and heavier. U.S. only had ST and GT for the 94-99 model...
