Question regarding this Celica

What color do you think this car is? Carbon Blue? And do you think that the decal can be easily removed without damaging the paint?

LOL, yeah, the car looks like crap right now, but this was a pic taken from the website of the dealership. I am just wondering what the color is and if the decal can be taken off before I head down there and make an offer.

Would suck to be stuck with that decal, haha.

How long has the decal been on? the longer its been on, the more difficult it will be to remove. I had to remove my decals from old Celica and they did not come off cleanly. I had to repaint the car anyway, so it was no big deal. I think I used Goof off to remove the adhesive. Goof-off is strong stuff and it will take your paint off. Whatever you use to pull off the adhesive, test it first on some unobservable paint. Good luck

Its definately carbon blue, and my guess is that those decals couldn't have been on there for more than 4 years. lol

But yeah, it could damage the paint depending on how long, and the paint that wasn't covered by the decals could also have faded some. idunno

Hehe, yeah, but that car is just an option incase I am not able to find one near my price range.

I have a question, if I purchase a Celica located in a different state, how do I go about the transaction? How would I get the car shipped?

I wouldn't purchase in another state unless it was withen 75 miles of my residance. You can rent a car hauler from U-haul and tow it back yourself. I'm not sure about the documentation, I don't think its a big deal unless you live in California, then I think they charge you some kind of transfer fee. Georgia tried something like that, and public outcry made them change it...Good luck

most states havea transfer fee you ahve to pay yoru states tax as well as the tax when you buy it.

also that decal should be able to come off how faded is anyones guess.

but i would ask the dealer to remvoe the decal adn if not faded you will buy it.

but make it known that you will not buy it if it is faded unlesss it is repainted or blended in.

dealer will never move that car with those decals on it so they may get desperate to make sale.
