I posted a similar topic before the new change to this forum format happened and i can't seem to find it...anyways...im getting my hood stripped and redone to match my bumper and drivers side fender that a guy backed into...i do a lot of highway driving and i was wondering if there is anything i can do to my hood to protect it from chipping in the future?

Get a clear 3M bra for the car. It's like a huge, giant clear vinyl sticker that you put on your hood and front bumper.
