(LOL)Okay which Celica year is the BEST!
As in RPM Redline and Lift Reaction, etc etc...?
(One question though does anyone here have a TRD Celica M Sport, if yes can you tell us your RPM Redline and Lift Reaction and what makes it so special besides the exterior?) Thanks! thumbsup
(Sorry once again I know it's been asked, this will be the answer to everyone's question of the best year and model made so far!!!)

how did you come up with this? i understand the 02 being the worst, but why do you think 03 is better then the 01 and why do you think the 01 is better then the 00? i've heard that the drive by wire system tends to have a lag. no pun intended. i just want to kno y.

i thought it was 00,03,01,02

the 00 and 03 both have an 8200rpm as opposed to the 01/02 7800rpm
the 03 still lacks a little from the 00 performance wise, because of the electrical layout.
and the same thing for the 01/02. 02 lacks a little from the 01.
just my thought on things

2003 is the best year, the trans is much smoother and it has the same fuel cutoff as the 00 which the 01 and 02 lacked

The 2005 Celica is a new full redesign of the car, making it the 8th generation Celica. New engine, I heard of dropping in a V-6 from one of the other cars, but I don't remember. New everything, that's what full redesign is.

Is it WIRELESS throttle or Drive-By-Wire throttle? I was thinking of Drive-By-wire... haha I know that G35 has it and it's suppose to have a faster throttle response... only bad thing is, it adapts to your driving, and while that's good for your average everyday driving, since it adapts to you drivin like a granny on normal streets, if you go run at the tracks or such, when you mash it, it'll take a while for the computer to understand what you're doing... or so i've heard grin

I wanted a 95 celica cause I love the way it looks and I wanted a used car. 95 has the best reviews in the used car guides on everything..brakes, safety, engine..everything.
I ended up just getting a new 2003. I love my new celi! The only thing is I wish Toyota would make them in green frown
