So today i drive over to my girlfriends house and i park out under a tree. i was my car. clean and then i wax it. as i war from rear to front, and when i get to the front of the car i realize my headlights are on. funny i didn't turn them on. so i open my door and then turn them to on (cause they were on off) and then back to off and they tured off. so i go back to waxing, and then 2 mins later they are on again. . this goes on for the next 40mins. so i just figured it was a ghost

So then tonight i go to pick up my girlfriend and it was dusk out so i goto turn on my lights and then as i am crusing i realize i dont see my headlights on the car in front of me. so i get bbehind this one car, turn on my DRL and then turn back on my headlights. NOTHING. so i turn on my DRL then back to my headlights again. nothing. then after 30secs of sitting there and waiting BOOM they turn on. . . . werid

so then tonight i go to leave work and my lights wont turn on. i drive home with my fogs.

i poped my hood and cheeck my fuses and they are all good, i check to make sure all my wires were connected to my ballasts. seem to be all fine. pull out the head fuse and put it back in. nothing. take out the fuse that is in the HIDS, and its fine and still nothing. . . . i am LOST at what i could be. . . .

i know the dealership is going to give me shit about my HIDS. i can feel it now. .

anyone ever have this problem or have any held for me. . . . .

edit: my dad thinks its the swtich that you use to turn on the headlights or the senor that tells them to turn on based on lights. . i dont think its that but i dont know. ..

my high beams work, and my fogs work. so i dont think its the fuse. but i checked fuse fuses 5,6,11,12 and they are all good. . . so i don't know

a couple too late, i already de-installed my HID's i needed to put my stock bulbs back in anyways and the only way to put them in was to take out the headlights to undo the mouting of the bulb in the headlamp. butttttttt i figured out the problem

and as you said, it is the relay, thanx to Steve from Xenondepot helping me out with the images he sent me. . and now reading this. .

i connected the relay directly and the bulbs turn right on so i need a new relay. . i have it right behind my battery, i figure no moister is there but i guess there is. .

well can't wait to get a new relay. . neeed hidsssss

thanx for the help

HID's are the best especially @ 4100k anything more is perfect for looks thumbsup grin

you could also try this to your stock bulbs for now.. =P you sand off the layer with a fine grit like 1000 and thne use rubbing compound to smooth out the scrathes.. happywink ..heh a bit of a difference if any...

ehh not much he..he.. it does seem to make the cut off in the projectors a bit more sharp,

so it would provide a bit more flicker when you hit a bumpy part on the road like how OEM hid's do.. tongue
