Was it normal for the 2000 GTS in black to have red & blue painted pinstripes? I failed to notice it when i bought the car used so I'm not sure if it's part of the stock paint job tongueuke:. (hey, the graemlins seem to be off!) Doesn't matter too much because i'm gonna paint the whole car again once I'm done with the mods I plan.

sorry people but i don't have a digital camera yet. they are 1 red and 1 blue pinstripes running parallel to each other going from the from top of the doors (near the hinges) all the way to the back fender (near the tail lights). is this that difficult to envision? no worries if this is still too hard to imagine. cheers

urgh. you guys make me wanna get a digi cam now. tongue well, the 2 stripes are really thin (maybe a millimeter wide) and they're about half a centimeter apart. they curve down from the mirrors then flow straight with the body all the way to the back. the paint seems stock but i don't know why anyone would custom paint them. heck, from a few yards you can't even tell they're there. go figure confused maybe i'll get it from the horse's mouth and ask toyo: "why, toyota?!?!?" rofl
