Simoni Racing is an italian company,we know it very well...their Celica has also NOS installed on it,but without using NOS tha car is slower than a normal TS (in Italy Ts is the name for the GTS,but it's a little bit more powerful tha yours).

The also import Intake sway bars and something more, but their prices are really really foolish... (for example they ask 900$ for an AEM Intake)...
I prefer buying items on line! frown

Don't forget that an European horse is not the same than the colemine horse they use in the US.
Both engines are the same. Our 192PS@7,600rpm is the same as the 180HP@7,600rpm. Just compare the kilowatts. It's 141kW@7,600rpm for a GTS and 105kW@6,400rpm for a GT.

Sure?
European celica has max power at 7800 RPM Us' at 7600...
I'don't think it's the same engine, in USA laws about pollution are much more restrictive.

Yep, you're right about the revs. But still the HP's are different. I searched this forum because I knew I posted the explanation before.

So here it is:

1 EU HP = 0,73549875 kW
1 US HP = 0,7457 kW

The difference is because of the definition.
1 Brittish/American HP is the power produced by an average coalminehorse in 1,800 in England. (lifting a mass of 550lbm with a speed of 1foot/s.

1 European HP is the power needed to lift 75kg with a speed of 1m/s.

So if we all would use the kW we wouldn't have any problems.

Yes you are right but...

192 cv are 189,373391 HP
Us celica has 180 Hp; it's not the same engine.I've seen it when I've installed the injen SR;it's made for the us celica and I had 2 hoses not used...they where useless on the european celica.
Headers are very difficult to install too...

That's it...anyway you are lucky for different things...for example you can install some magnificent exhausts and in Italy you can't...if they hear you comin' some policeman will stop you.

Bye
