Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Testors spray paint

Hey guys i got a Question for People who have Used Testors Spray paint to red out there tails or black them out, okay so has anyone here done either one of those. if you guys know can you tell me how it turned out when you black them out and redded them out, pictures would be greatly appreciated so please let me know when you can.

i used testors to red mine out and i think that it came out good. here are a couple pics.

the testor's red seems to work very well... i was impressed with how well it held up on my taillights (until i got my tyc's)

The "transparent black window tint" however, i was not impressed with at all... it doesn't seem to bond well, no matter how good your prep is. I used it on my sidemarkers, and it flaked off within a month... so, i figured, i did something wrong in the prep (everyone makes mistakes) so i prepped them again, and painted them again. I even used an adhesion promoter this time. Again, it flaked off within a month. I won't be using it again.
