Celica Forums General Discussion General fog light gremlin

so i get some new H3 h.i.d. style blubs for my celi, and now everytime they switch on the fuse blows they are the stock fog lights and i cannot figure out what is going on. All conections are good, no wires have been stripped or exposed. i just dont know??? do you think that because they are a stronger bulb, they might be drawing to much power for the wiring to handle? did anyone else need to go up to a 20amp fuse instead if the 15amp?

i had the same problem. My bulbs were 4x brighter and they kept on blowing my fuse, then i switched to 2x brighter with a 32v fuse and i havent had any problems.

try switching to a higher fuse

yep higher fuse is needed.. its like when i put in real hid's into my low beam i needed to put in a different fuse
