I'm new in this forum. I bought a SS1 manual not long ago.
notice that there is some whinning sound coming from the gear box at the speed of 70-80km/h.below this speed, the noise is softer...above this speed, the noise covered by engine n road noise...

is this usual in the celica ss1 manual?

I had that noise and it turns out it was the final drive bearings went bad. Check yer gear oil level and or take it to the dealer.
