Do you tint the outside or inside of your windows? I plan on attempting to tint my own windows. Say i tint on the inside, would it look any different than tinting on the outside?

thanks

LOL, if you tint the outside, it's vulnerable to all the elements...DER

The one in my sunroof was tinted outside and the tint is coming off now. It does not look pretty with white stuff that just won't go away.

i ask this because on satoshi's website it looks like he tinted the outside of his passenger and rear panel windows. I've always thought inside too.

tint is always on the inside.
i used to think it was on the outside though... once somebody tells you or you find out it's supposed to be on the inside... it just makes sense.

Gir ... INVADER ZIM rules thumbsup thumbsup thumbsup

I believe Satoshi just used the outside as a template and then put it on the inside. That's because he did the tint job himself.

Putting tint on the outside would be like throwing money away. It wouldn't last very long at all.

figured it all out, i just saw picture where he washed outside, he used it as template.

BTW tinting should be done by professionals, just found this out the hard way.

pay to have it done, it only cost me $125. you might think your saving money by doing it your self but in the end it will look like crap and you'll have spent 1/3 of what the pros charge thumbsup
