i have XM, i've had it for over a year and i love it. most all the stations are commercial-free, unless you're listening to a regular radio station that is on the XM frequency, then of course it will have commercials, but those stations are few and far between. most of the stations on there have a dj, and he occasionally talks and takes calls and stuff, but they dont have advertising commercials. some of the stations dont even have a 'talkative dj' either, they just play song after song after song...etc.

and yeah its only 9.99 a month. i'm prolly gonna be keeping mine for a while to come.

Sounds like everyone wants it but no one has it... I thought about it a few years back, but the cost of the hardware turn me off.

I have it. Just got it about month and a half ago. I love it. The only problem I have with it is that I can't get the damn stand for the tuner to stay mounted to the dash. It's like our dash is designed to prevent things from sticking to it. I've tried all kinds of levels of sticky stuff. Nothing works.

But back to the XM... it's great!!. It's so much better when you just want to listen to music, and the variety is great. There is always something great to listen to. For only $9.99 a month, plus $2.99 for the Playboy channel (which is really a waste, you can't beat it! If you can spare the money to get the tuner and pay for the $10 a month, it's totally worth it. thumbsup

$10 a month to pay for advertising...

Besides, my MP3 CD has 120+ of my favorite songs, I never listen to them all rofl

If you're thinking about getting it, do it. I have it & I love it. I live in a very rural place where I only get like six radio stations, two of which play music I'll listen to. Trust me, you'll like it.
