I am thinking of redding out my tail lights from the instructions listed on this site. I was wondering if any of you have done this. If so, How long was the process? I may consider getting vynals from Blue batmobile after i red them out. If you guys could give your thoughts on this that would be helpfull.

i'm thinking about doing it..if i end up not winning an altezza tail light on ebay, i'll red it out. i'm pretty sure it wouldn't take too long. i should put as much coat in as needed to match ur stock color but not too much..i'm sure you can tell if it's too dark or too light..anyway, i think it would only take half a day to do it, since you have to wait like 10mins between coat to dry..so do it man.. thumbsup

I did it to mine awhile after I put my new ones in, it was really easy just tape it off real good and put on 3-4 light layers waiting about 10-15 minutes between each coat, just check after each layer until its a perfect match! thumbsup

you use testors brand, transparent candy apple red "1605". it can be picked up at your local hobby shop. no need for clear coat, its already mixed in.
