I am thinking of redding out my tail lights from the instructions listed on this site. I was wondering if any of you have done this. If so, How long was the process? I may consider getting vynals from Blue batmobile after i red them out. If you guys could give your thoughts on this that would be helpfull.

i'm thinking about doing it..if i end up not winning an altezza tail light on ebay, i'll red it out. i'm pretty sure it wouldn't take too long. i should put as much coat in as needed to match ur stock color but not too much..i'm sure you can tell if it's too dark or too light..anyway, i think it would only take half a day to do it, since you have to wait like 10mins between coat to dry..so do it man..

I did it to mine awhile after I put my new ones in, it was really easy just tape it off real good and put on 3-4 light layers waiting about 10-15 minutes between each coat, just check after each layer until its a perfect match!

you use testors brand, transparent candy apple red "1605". it can be picked up at your local hobby shop. no need for clear coat, its already mixed in.
