I'm thinkin about having one custom made soon. if they do it I'll make sure they keep the specs and if they want I'll tell everyone who made it.

also keep in mind unless its for show you won't need one until you hit 11.99 1/4 mile at most tracks wink something 99.99 % of all celicas will never do. lol

but I'll keep you guys in mind thumbsup

as far as i know, there's no company who makes a roll cage that's a direct bolt on. a roll cage is over kill if you don't plan to use your Celi as a race car.

i was actually wondering about this the other day..
so in essence the practicality of a roll cage for the daily driver is useless??

but wouldn't it still serve a purpose in daily use?? confused
besides adding additional weight..

my car prolly wont ever be fast enough either.

I only want one for when I get my racing seats/harnesses and start hitting the road courses. Mine will also be equiped with various camera mounting positions so I can make MUCH better vids wink

but no I'll never be fast enough in the 1/4 to need one more then likely.

Okay, for one thing, a cage is only heavy depending on the material it's constructed from, even steel cages can be pretty light if the tubing is hollow and not too big for your application

also, they serve other purposes too. they help stiffen up the chassis which is major if you autocross, and your car is a unibody hatchback like the celica.

You also mount your harnesses to them, btw.

Of course, they make pillar bars, harness bars and floor bars, which could be a good investment if you don't want to put a full cage in your car, but want the added stiffening benifits.

Don't forget strut braces too.

BTW, if you want the safety benifits of a cage, you had better weld it in rather than bolt it in. If you roll, and it's bolted in the car, the bolts can shear, and you now have a metal cage bouncing around inside the car with you. not a good idea.

In my car nothing is heavy wink if it was it wouldnt be in there. lol and yeah 11's would only happen if I decide to go F/I at some point. which isnt gonna happen so far. lol

All I want it for is a harness so all I need is a 4 point cage.
I don't want a bolt in but I do want the bars pre bent so I ca weld them in myself.
