I was thinking of Powder Coating
my wheels to bronze & leave the lip
polished... my question is when you
do P/C them could i ever go back to
the original color without much hassle..
And also would the wheels be shiny
(have a clear coat sort of to give of shine)
when P/C ed' them. Thanks thumbsup

um...im guessing that have to do something to the rims to make the coat stick...like sanding-maybe rofl

im not to sure...never really been into coatin the wheels, i would just get the color how i want it from the retailer thumbsup

so ya...it might lose its shinyness if you take the bronze coat off...but you could always have the rims repainted in a coat of silver, like the original if you ever want the silver back thumbsup

correct me if im wrong grin

My understanding of powdercoating is that you clean the surface, apply a negative charge to the object to painted and apply a positive charged powder to the object. Then the object is heated and the powder melts into the surface. I don't know exactly what temperature is used, but it might discolor the existing surface. Good luck
