Normally, in order to truly match the color of your car, they would need to "blend" the body kit in with the rest of the car.

Meaning, they would be painting more than the body kit itself, and therefore "blending" would cost a little extra.

From what I was told, if "blending" is NOT done, depending on how old the car is, exposure to sunlight vs garage-kept, frequency of car washes, etc...and other factors..., painting of the body kit by itself (without blending) may only be around 90% - 95% of the true color match.

Is that something that's noticeable? How have you guys handled the painting of your body kits? Do you normally request they "blend" it in?

Mine is getting painted this week.
