Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior i was wondering about my tail lights

i saw something called Tail light tinting spray and i was wonderin, has anyone heard of it or seen it, and if so, where did you guys see it so i can buy it, i want to purchase it so i can give my tails a smoked/black finished look, so if anyone can please help me find it. thanks!

you can always buy one of andy's (bluebatmobiles) taillight overlays for probably cheaper than a 'tinting spray'.

I've heard of it. Some people buy it from local hobby stores. I heard not so good things about those because it doesn't contain anything that will protect against discoloration from sunlight. You want a spray with UV protection because the tint might turn yellowish after a while on your lights. VHT Nite Shades will work, but I don't know if has the UV protection. not worth it..tis called nightshades...definitly no good...only thing its good for is for blacking out side markers an dshit..BUTT..you have to do it PERFECTLY and take time coating it a bunch of times...but to do a WHOLE tail light...definitly no good. like the replies above ..jsut get the bats overlays"..i havent bought any...BUT..they are fantastic for quick mods that change the look of your car at a great price(haha i feel like a sales man for him)..but no seirously...BATS CONTRIBUTION TO THE CELICA COMMUNITY = MAJOR THUMBS UP
