Alight I just got my tein S. yesterday. And i plan on doing to the install w/the help of my dad or a friend. Everyone said you can DIY if you are carefull. I checked the install section but if you actually read it, it dosnt tell you how to install them at all. Mabye im looking at the wrong install guide. Its says for the TRD spring install. All he really dose is say, its dangerous and you should get a profesionall to do it. Any advice is welcomed.

i just did the fronts yesterday (got dark so i have to do the back later) ... it was a bitch too, i'd just pay the 75 bucks or whatever unless your interested in learning.

you'll need

a rachet set (metric)
a wrench set (metric)
a vice
a lot of time.

I thought you need a spring compressor too. Your the first person that ive heard to say that it was hard. Everyone eles said its pretty simple. My one friends dad sopposivley will do it for $80. The only garrage will do it for $225. I was trying to save some $ and do it myself. Is there a how to anywhere??

you'll need a spring compressor...the fronts are pretty straight foward...remove the tire, remove the bolts holding the strut assembly to the car...and remove any other bolts holding the strut to the car...then compress the springs, remove the nut at the top of the strut, once thats off swap the springs, reinstall everything in reverse...the rears are a lil more difficult, you need to remove the plastic panels in the trunk to get to the bolts...same as the fronts, just have to push down on the control arm to remove the strut...one bolt will give you problems tho...ill look for the install guide

Don't forget the Spring Compressors...and a TORQUE Wrench!
(and my foot helps too! thumbsup)

***When I did mine, it was a matter of just getting used to the 7th Gen...vice all the Nissans I used to work on...

The front was easy...the back, a little annoying because you have to yank out your rear interior to get to the shock towers!

***OH yeah! Don't forget to tighten the lugs on your wheels when your done...I heard somebody here forgot to!!! rofl

When you say slight? You wanna lower so it just barley gets around? Or do you wanna lower just a slight?

Either way just check the review section. There like 6 or so diffrent drops and brands to look at.

That would be me =)

Also, just pay to get it installed. Cause honestly, it is a bitch. Spatikid and Evil_Irish were installing my TRD springs. It's really time consuming.
